On the left hand side menu scroll down to Documents

To change the text on your front store page

Click Homepage.

Your Policies, Terms, Links and other Pages are under Site Documents.

Edit your Title, then add text and pictures using the editor.

Click Update Homepage.

Site Documents are pages you can add and edit in your site. This is where you would want your policies and information. Some sites have font choices for there customers they use the Documents to display those pictures.

You choose where you want them to show up on your site based on your template design, you can change the order they apprear in or if they have a Category associated with them.

b. Coupon Code: Fill a coupon code to be used by customers, leave blank and a random code will be generated for you

c. Status: Enable/Disable this coupon at any time without deleting it.

d. Amount/ Percent Off: You can either have a specific amount set for your coupon or a % off of the order value.

e. Number of times a coupon can be used: Specify a maximum amount of times the coupon can be used.
Zero means unlimited

f. Expiration date: After this date the coupon will not be valid.

g. Customer Use Limit: Click on “Once per customer” radio button or leave it set to “Unlimited”.

h. Order Limit: “Unlimited” means the coupon will be valid on orders of any amount.
Or you can choose X amount and the customer will have to spend that much before they can redeem the coupon.

i. All Products/Categories: Check this option to enable the coupon for all products

j. This Product only: Check this option and specify a specific product code for this coupon.

Next you need to setup your store name and general settings.

You will see a couple of Links here that are helpful for my customers.

Tutorials is for the Tutorials I have created for my customers to help them get around Cubecart.

The Helpdesk is where you go if you need help from me, or would like to ask about an addition or add on.

Billing Center is to pay your hosting bill, or account balances.

The link you want to click to setup your store name and info is General Settings.

The first thing you will fill out is the Meta Data

Now scroll down a bit to where you see the Style & Misc heading.

All of this is pretty self explanatory. You do not need to mess with the settings.

The only other part that you will find you will need is if your having  a sale in your store:

Setting up Cubecart in Paypal:

If your hosted with us or you have a cpanel at your current host this is how you do it:

1.) Login to your cpanel the url is usually http://yourdomainname.com/cpanel (if you have not changed your dns on our host the login is (http://209.188.90.240/cpanel)

The username and password provided.

2.) Click the File Manager

3.) Now this screen will come up. BE SURE AND FOLLOW the instructions to get to the folder you need to upload your zip files too. (DO NOT CLICK the UPLOAD FILES Arrow YET)

Click public_html

Click files

Now this screen comes up

Click the uploads folder

Now you are finally at the folder that holds all your zip files.

Click the Arrow next to the Upload File.

This screen comes up:

Now you will click Browse look for the Zip files you want to upload. If your adding a zip file to replace and old one be sure and click Overrite existing files..When you have all the files you want to upload click Upload.

Once you have uploaded all the images you want to add on, click View Products on the Left Hand Side.

This screen will come up.

Click Manage Images – A popup Window will come up, scroll down and click ADD next to each image you want added onto that product.

If you want a product to appear in more than on Category, you will click Manage Categories, a popup screen comes up, click ADD next to each Category you want this product to appear in.

I usually set this up for you when I do the cart. But I will show you how I set them up so if you need to add more you can.

If you don’t have any added you will start with this screen:

You type in Format and then Click Add Option

Now you will add your Format Options that you want them to choose from. Keep in mind each choice is a zip file, all of its own.

After you have added all those you need to assign it to your product:

You will pull down the product then assign the option Attribute in that pull down, make sure then you choose downloadable, you will do this for each format you want to assign to that product.

Now you only have to do this for the First Product. If I have set up the options for you it is much easier.

When you click the Add Option Link you will see this QUICK ASSIGN OPTION at the very top of the page:

In the first pull down you will choose a product with options already assigned to it that are the same as the product your doing now.
The second pull down find the product your assigning the current options too, then Click Go.

Now on the left Click View Products
Click the product we just added the options too.

Scroll Down Look for this:

Leave WITHOUT OPTION alone.

The ones under that you will pull down and add your file to it.

Now click Edit Product.

When updating the digital files only you might get a failed to update message

But if you go and look it will have added the zips, it is just a glitch that happens.
